Roasted Makhana (Fox Nuts, Phool Makhana, Lotus Seeds)
Makhana is roasted in ghee and spices. It is also known as Lotus seeds, Fox nut, Phool makhana, etc.,
- 2 to 3 tbsp Oil / Ghee
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt required level
Heat ghee or oil in a pan or Kadai. Add the Makhana.
Roast for about 10 to 15 mins on a low medium flame until it becomes crispy and crunchy.
Now add the spices like turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Give a good mix and switch off the flame.
Give a good mix and serve it. You can also store it in an airtight container.
