Oats Egg Omelette Recipe – It’s an omelette type of recipe with little changes. It’s a mixture of Oats, Eggs, Milk, Vegetables, and some spice herbs. It’s a quick recipe, very healthy and tasty one too.

The Plain rolled oats don’t have any particular taste, at least to me, it’s quite bland. The plain color and taste is not very appetizing sometimes. But there are some ways, we can make the oats taste better. If you are running late and you want to make a yummy breakfast with oats. This could be your go-to recipe. I am sure everyone at home would love it. This recipe at least changed the opinion on oats in my family. Give it a go once.

Oats Egg Omelette Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Pizza Seasoning / other dry herbs
  • 1/2 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 Capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/2 Carrot finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Salt required level
  • Oil to cook the omelette

Instructions

  • Get the ingredients ready. Add these ingredients in a wide mixing bowl, one by one, and mix everything well. You might find nice pouring consistency.
  • Now heat the pan, spread a tsp of oil in that. Then pour the batter evenly.
  • Cover the pan and allow it to cook for a min, once the edges start browning. Remove the lid, flip the omelette, and cook again. This time no need to cover the pan.
  • Once it is done, transfer to the plate and serve with some ketchup or chutney.
  • It tastes better when it is warm. So serve immediately. Delicious Oats Omelette is ready.

  • Eggs – 4
  • Oats – 1/2 cup (rolled oats)
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – required level
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Pizza seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp (any other dry herbs)
  • Onion – 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum – 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Carrot – 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – few
  • Oil – a few tsp for the omelette.

Process:

First, get all the ingredients ready.

Add these ingredients in a wide mixing bowl, one by one, and mix everything well. You might find nice pouring consistency.

Now heat the pan, spread a tsp of oil in that. Then pour the batter evenly.

Cover the pan and allow it to cook for a min, once the edges start browning. Remove the lid, flip the omelette, and cook again. This time no need to cover the pan.

Once it is done, transfer to the plate and serve with some ketchup or chutney.

    Malini recently I’ve been adding turmeric to the omelettes I prepare. Adding oats to it is such a wonderful idea. I usually add some to my smoothie, but next time I make omelette I’m definitely adding oats. Thanks for the suggestion.
