Are French fries really bad for health?

In my opinion, No vegetable is bad for health, It’s about the consistency of consuming veggies and how well we maintain our diet.

Eating too much of anything is not good for your health. Fried foods are tastier compared to no fried. But bad fats or trans fat is not good for health. It’s better to avoid or reduce the supermarket or any other outlet’s fried food.

Homemade fried food without any preservatives and artificial flavors, with fresh veggies and clean cooking oil, is not really that bad. Once in a while, it’s ok to eat.

Overall, anything in moderation is fine I guess.

Ingredients

  • 2 Potato medium sized
  • Oil To fry potatoes
  • Salt Required level
  • Chilli Powder Required level

Instructions

  • Clean and chop the potatoes. Let it dry for some time. The drying part is to avoid the splutter in the oil later while frying.
  • Once it is dried, Heat the oil in a Kadai, add few pieces at a time and start frying.
  • Once it is fried, just place the fried ones a paper towel, to absorb extra oil.
  • Once you are done frying all the potatoes. Now its time to mix the salt and chilli powder. Transfer the fried ones. Add the salt and chili powder, mix everything well.
  • Now, the French Fries or Potato Fries are ready to serve.
