Eggless Mango Rava Cake Recipe
Eggless Mango Rava Cake – It’s just like other sooji cake with an additional ingredient as Mango pulp. This gives an amazing flavor to the cake and a little dense.
Note: Refrigerate the cake, since we add the mango pulp directly, it won’t stay good for a long time at room temperature.
- Mango pulp – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Ghee/Butter – 1/4 cup
- Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Maida – 3/4 cup
- Sooji / Rava – 3/4 cup
- Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
Get all the ingredients ready. Take the mango pulp in the wide mixing bowl.
Add the milk into it. Mix well.
Now add the melted butter also into it. Mix everything well.
Add vanilla essence also into the mixture.
Now add sugar.
Then add sooji little by little and mix the batter.
Now add Maida in batches and mix the batter well.
Use the cut and fold method, mix the batter well without any lumps. Do not over mix it.
Now preheat the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 mins, Now grease the cake tin, then add the batter into it and spread the batter evenly.
I like dry nuts, so I topped some nuts over the batter. You can add your favourite toppings and start baking it. For me, it took 25 mins to bake this cake. The timing varies according to the oven.
Once it is done, cool it off and then cut the cake.
Serve this yummy cake with a cup of tea in the evening. Always store the remaining pieces in the refrigerator, It won’t stay good at the room temperature more than a day.
