Chocolate Brownie is quite famous among cocoa lovers. It’s not easy as baking cake. Need a little care. To get the fudgy feeling, we need the right amount of ingredients. I tried two to three times, this is the best attempt when it comes to the taste and texture. Baking is an art, all you need to do is understand how it works for you and modify accordingly. Baking tray, quantity, and oven time vary for everyone. So it is not easy to get the result based on someone else steps. But if you work carefully, you will get it.

Cocoa Powder is very important for the brownie. So choose the right one to get the intense and perfect chocolate flavor. I used Dark Chocolate also in this brownie. Most of the time, I go with Amul salted butter for cake and cookies, you can also use the other brand unsalted butter. Good dark chocolate and cocoa powder give a perfectly fudgy brownie. Make sure to get a good one.

Ingredients

  • 150 gm Dark Chocolate Amul Dark Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder 1 cup = 240 ml
  • 120 gm Butter
  • 1 cup Maida / All purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Almonds and Walnuts to garnish

Instructions

  • First, grate or chop the dark chocolate and keep it in a mixing bowl. I used Amul Dark Chocolate here.
  • Melt the butter in a pan and add it to the chocolate. (I used Amul salted butter)
  • Now mix it well, until the chocolate dissolves and get a smooth batter.
  • Next, add the sugar into the mixture.
  • Mix until the sugar dissolves completely. I used crystal sugar, it was difficult to beat, so I did double boiling method to dissolve the sugar. You can also make a powder of it and mix it.
  • Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven for 15 mins at 180 degrees.
Once the sugar dissolves, Now add the curd and vanilla extract, mix well.
  • Now its time to add the dry ingredients. Sieve the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Once sieving is done, use the cut and fold method, mix the batter without any lumps. The batter would be very thick, so it might be a little difficult to mix but do it gently.
  • Now add the milk and give a good mix, Make a smooth thick batter. Brownie batter is a little thick when compared to a cake. This gives a fudgy texture.
  • Once it is done, transfer it to the lined baking tray, spread evenly and tap the corners. I garnished with some nuts (almonds and walnuts) to get the extra crunchy texture.
  • Now place the tray in pr-heated and bake for about 20 mins. The time varies based on the oven, so bake carefully. Do not over bake it, because it will crumble too much. Once it is baked, it is very important to cool down the brownie, before making the pieces.
  • Once it is cool down, Cut and serve this fudgy brownie as a dessert or tea time snack.
