Cucumber Raita works well with Biriyani, Pulao, Parathas, and Roti as well. It helps to reduce the heat from the main dish. If you have fresh cucumbers at home, you must try this one for sure. I like the mint flavor version of raita, so I added some mint leaves in this dish. If you are not a fan of mint flavor, you can alternate with coriander leaves. I also added a little bit of chaat masala. I like that distinctive tangy taste. Roasted cumin powder is important for raita. Chili powder is optional, You can use it or ignore it. Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cucumber chopped or grated
  • 1 cup Plain Curd / Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • Rock Salt required level
  • Mint Leaves or Coriander Leaves required level

Instructions

  • Take a mixing bowl, add the plain yogurt or curd in it. Beat the curd well.
  • Clean and chop or grate the fresh cucumbers finely. Add it to the curd.
  • Now add the spices like cumin powder, chili powder, rock salt, and chaat masala and mix everything well.
  • You can add the finely chopped mint leaves or coriander leaves. Mix well.
  • Now serve the yummy cucumber raita with some main dish and enjoy it.

Process:
