Bread Besan Masala Toast – It’s an eggless masala toast. Kids would love it. Either you can cut the bread into pieces and make a toast or you can make the whole bread into toast. It’s your choice. It’s a quick recipe for breakfast or snacks. I only added onions and tomatoes. If you would like to add some veggies. That would be really great. Some people like the aroma of carom seeds in this toast, if you don’t like, you can skip it. You can serve this toast with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney.

It’s an eggless masala toast. It’s a quick recipe for breakfast or snacks. I only added onions and tomatoes. If you would like to add some veggies. That would be really great.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Besan Flour
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • Salt required level
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 2 Green chili chopped
  • few Coriander levels chopped

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, take besan flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, carom seeds, cumin seeds, pepper powder, and salt.
  • Now add the chopped onions, tomatoes, chilies, and some coriander leaves.
  • Add water slowly and make a smooth batter out of it. I added 4 to 5 tbsp. Batter shouldn’t be too thin or with any lumps.
  • Now, take a pan, Heat it, spread some oil on it, then dip the bread slice in the batter, coat the batter well and place it on the pan.
  • On low medium heat, toast the bread well on both sides, if required spread some oil on the bread. Use spatula and turn the bread and allow it to cook well. Once it is cooked, the toast will turn into golden color.
  • Now serve this hot Bread Besan Masala Toast with ketchup or chutney.
