Moong dal Ladoo is a very delicious sweet recipe. It’s just like Besan Ladoo. These ladoos can be prepared as Naivedyam for God and also for special occasions feast. I have used unrefined cane sugar to prepare this ladoo. Alternatively, you can use jaggery as well. This ladoo will last for 3 to 4 days at room temperature and you can refrigerate as well. 1. Yes Deepika. It’s possible to add Jaggery as well. You can make a syrup out of it and mix the moong dal powder before frying in ghee. It would taste awesome.

  1. Wow this looks so healthy and delicious and the fact that they can be made so easily. Thanks for the share

  2. Malini, these are super inviting and I am a big fan of homemade ladoos. Ladoos are perhaps the only sweets that I dont purchase from a shop as it lacks the health and the taste element than the homemade ones. Moong dal + Ghee a healthy snack for that 4pm tea time for both kids and adults.

  3. Moong daal ladoo is something new for me but sounds so delicious and doable with very few and healthy ingredients – almost like an energy bar! 😊
