Kids love for french fries are unstoppable, sometimes adults also feel the same. But we all have that guilty feeling about deep fried food items. To avoid that, here is a recipe. Potatoes are baked with organic seasoning, salt, ginger paste & pepper. I have taken rosemary leaves. You can add your favorite herbs to the seasoning. This crispy baked potato wedges are perfect for snack and side dish.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 2 large or 3 medium size (200 g)
  • Garlic – 3 to 4 cloves (minced)
  • Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – required level
  • Rosemary leaves – 1 tsp
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp

Description:

  1. Get the ingredients ready. Clean and peel the skin of the potatoes and chop it according to your style. Removing the skin part is optional. If you like with skin. You can chop the potatoes directly with skin.
  2. Once the potatoes are chopped. Add the potatoes to water and keep it aside.
  3. Now prepare the seasoning. Take a bowl, add oil, minced garlic, salt, rosemary leaves and pepper.
  4. Now add the sliced potatoes to that seasoning and mix well.
  5. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil or parchment paper, preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 mins
  6.  Now line the potatoes on the foil or paper and place the baking tray in oven at 180 degree Celsius for 20 to 25 mins.
  7. At the halfway, stop the process and take out the baking tray and turn the potato wedges using a spoon or tongs and place the tray back and start the process.
  8. Bake the wedges until it becomes crisp and golden. Once it is done, take out the wedges and serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
