I don’t drink Tea often, when I drink, I have a habit of taking cookies also with that. It’s like mandatory for me. I thought once, why can’t I bake my own cookie, so that I am aware of the ingredients I use and it would be even healthier than I get from outside.
Many days plans, finally came to an end. Initially I thought it would be difficult, then later I found out. Wow. It’s super easy and no need of any fancy ingredients to prepare this. 30 mins is enough to bake around 8 to 10 cookies.
Egg-less Wheat Cookies with choco chips
- Wheat Flour – 1 cup (filtered, 150 gms)
- Sugar – 4 to 5 tbsps. (I prefer less sugar)
- Olive Oil – 3 tbsps
- Lemon – 1 tbsp
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
- Milk – 5 to 6 tbsps. (If the dough is very dry, add little more milk)
- choco chips – 2 to 3 tbsp
Get the ingredients ready. First, preheat the oven in convection mode at 180 degrees for 10 mins.
Take Milk, Oil, lime juice, vanilla essence in a mixing bowl.
Whisk a bit, once everything mixes well. Add sugar into that and whisk everything well until the sugar dissolves.
Add filtered wheat flour, Baking soda into the wet mixture. Cut and fold everything well. Don’t whisk it. Using a spatula or with some other spoon, cut and fold it.
Add choco chips into that mixture. Gently get the whole mixture and form a dough. If the dough is very sticky or dry add a bit of milk.
Make a small size ball out of the dough.
Flatten it little bit not too much and get the baking tray ready, apply butter or ghee on that. Place the dough on that and keep it inside the preheated oven at convection mode of 10 – 15 mins.
After 10 to 15 mins, check it out, how the cookie has come out. If it ready, Take it out and cool down if for a few mins or extend the timing for another few mins.
Once it is ready, serve them immediately or store it in an air-tight container.
Yummy Egg-less cookie is ready to serve with hot cup of Tea.
Happy Cooking 🙂
