Paneer and Matar is a great combination when it comes to lunch it could be prepared in any form like gravy or fry. This recipe doesn’t require any additional masala or spices, I prepared with some basic ingredients. This fry will go well with fried rice, pulao varieties and with plain rice as well.

- Carbohydrates – *17.0 g
- Dietary Fiber – *3.1 g
- Protein – *14.0 g
- Cottage Cheese or Paneer – 250 g
- Matar or Green Peas – 100 g
- Onion – 1 medium size finely chopped
- Tomato – 1 medium size finely chopped
- Oil – 2 tbsps
- Turmeric and Chili powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – required level
- Curry and Coriander leaves – few
Cut the Paneer into small cubes, peel and soak the Matar in water for few mins.
Get the ingredients ready, Heat the pan, add oil into that, once it gets heated, add chopped onions and curry leaves into that. Saute well for few mins.
Then add chopped tomatoes into that, Saute everything well, after 2 mins, add salt, turmeric and chili powder into that. Mix everything well.
Once it starts to leave oil, add Matar (green peas) also into that. Mix everything well and close the pan and leave it to cook for 5 mins.
After 5 mins, add Paneer cubes also into that, Mix everything well. Occasionally stir gently to get the paneer blends into that mixture and cook for around 5 more mins.
Once everything blends well, Turn off the burner and transfer the fry into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
