Western India Coastline Goa. Amazing tourist place with beaches, adventure water sports, Goan food, different flavored restaurants, churches, Tattoo shops, shopping markets and many more. If you need a break from your city mechanical life, this place is definitely for you to get back to your soul and refresh yourself.
I had been to North Goa and stayed for three days. Those three days were completely exceptional for me. I loved the place, beaches, food and everything. I threw myself out of my comfort zone and just enjoyed to the fullest. I just wished i could have extended my holiday package. 🙂
Baga beach is very popular in North Goa a seaside town in Bardez, Its 2 KM south from Calangute. It’s a contiguous beach which starts from Sinquerim, Candolim, leads to Calangute and then to Baga. I went in the evening, fortunately I happened to see the beautiful sunset view and it was awesome. The sea water was glittering like gold. Lots of water sports available almost at all beaches like Jet Ski, Banana ride, parasailing, motor boats and other cruise activities as well.
Calangute is a town in North Goa and this beach is considered as Queen of beaches. Every tourist ensures that they visit this before they depart from Goa. Like other beaches here also water sports are there. From Panaji it’s approximately 16 KM and from Baga it’s 2 KM to reach Calangute.
There are some nice places to visit in Calangute like Church of St. Alex, Tibetan Markets, Casino’s, restaurants and Gift Shops. The food is very delicious in calangute beach near restaurants they have their authentic touch and the party’s never end at night time.
Sinquerim Beach – Fort Aguada
Fort Aguada is seventeenth-century Portuguese fort in North Goa on Sinquerim beach overlooking the Arabian Sea. A freshwater spring within the fort provided water supply to the ships that used to stop by. This is how the fort got its name: Aguada, meaning Water. It was a reference point for the vessels coming from Europe at that time. Fort Aguada was the most prized and crucial fort of Portuguese. Here also lots of water sports available.
